Jim worked in highly technical computer jobs for many years then decided to change hats and pursue his hobby - photography.  He transferred his technical talents to technical aspects of photography, especially digital cameras and digital photo editing.  He has added an artistic talent that had laid dormant for most of his life.

Jim studied videography and photography and did wedding and band videos for a while.  He earned his stripes by shooting thousands of portraits at a financial loss just for the experience.  You'll no longer see him reading computer programming books but rather books on posing, lighting, and photo editing.

Jim shoots mostly at the Covenant Studios in Hurst, TX.  There are two separate studios with separate dressing rooms and lots of professional photo strobes and modifiers (soft boxes, umbrellas, etc.) for lighting.

Jim will photograph almost anything except weddings (and prefers not to shoot funerals) but now wants to concentrate on shooting closeup portraits and photos of people wearing pretty dresses or costumes.
